Style: Elegant & complex
“Filari in Costa” comes from a single Pecorino vineyard long farmed by the Pesolillo family on Colle Rotondo, near Chieti. The limestone soil and sea breeze heighten its elegant aromas and preserve the freshness and natural acidity of the grapes. It is made only in the best vintages. The grapes are hand-picked in the first week of September, and the must ferments in barriques, where the wine ages for 8–10 months with regular bâtonnage. It then rests another 4 months on its lees in stainless steel. Organic farming.
