FEU is a Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine from Tenute Orestiadi, a cuvée of two Sicilian white grapes, Catarratto and Grecanico, hand-picked in late August on the high hills of Valle del Belìce at 200–400 m. Fermented with selected yeasts at controlled temperature, made sparkling by the Charmat method — second fermentation in tank, which keeps the fruit fresh — then at least three months in bottle. Green apple, flowers and a fresh green edge: a lively, straightforward aperitif.
