The Boss is the Chianti of the Tamburini family, winemakers in Gambassi Terme since 1890. It takes its name from Mauro Tamburini, Emanuela's father, who carried the family estate forward. Made from 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo, it ferments at controlled temperature with a 15-day maceration and then spends a year in concrete tanks. Intense and complex, remarkably soft and warm, with a very pleasant finish.
